This weeks little song number is by Ruby age 9
(What a wonderful lament!)
I’m just the butler
I’m just the butler I do what she says
Me in the kitchen, The Queen in her bed
I call her therapist, Ring 999
I’m just the butler, + that life is mine
I do this this + that, + that, this + this
I know it’s a lot but that’s what it is
My bedroom”s not ideal surfaces are bare
Cause I’m just the butler, with no time to spare
Each day I wonder: (Can I go home?)
The queen shakes her head, I’m all alone
But now that she’s gone What will I do
Cause I’m just the butler Unlike you
